Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 3 Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
If I had to criticize it for something, it would probably be for offering a $5 DLC whose only function is to double your in-game credit earnings, which are used to unlock customization options. It’s rather silly, but not a big deal and honestly, you don’t need it.While this game is largely an incremental upgrade to past versions, its improvement make Supercross 6 the perfect time for newcomers curious about the sport to hop on board. I somewhat wonder where the game can go from here, beca...
Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 6 is a highly polished, excellent entry to the Monster Energy Supercross series that has me excited to keep coming back for more races. The updates to the game’s physics especially had me feeling like I was more in control of my riding experience than ever before. Unfortunately, the Supercross Academy contributed very little to this improved experience and the new Rhythm Attack mode left something to be desired as well.
Deceptively technical and tricky to master, Monster Energy Supercross 3 is a modest but solid two-wheeled racer with good atmosphere and a great sense of speed. However, the fact the previous two are largely just as good makes it harder to get the heart rate up again, whether exceeding the maximum safe daily dose of Monster or not.
MEAMAS3FIMWCTOVG is an enjoyable way of spending an hour or two, but a lack of significant progress combined with a fairly ordinary career structure, uninspiring user-created tracks and rocky online performance means that you won't be running home from school desperate to play the next level.
I have to make a confession: I am not the target audience for Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 2. I don’t know much about Supercross, and I didn’t play the first game, which came out last year. Heck, I don’t even drink Monster Energy. There was a lot stacked against me going into this. Thankfully, Supercross 2 provides a lot of thrilling, appropriately rough, bike racing action. I just wished that action was easier to get to.
