Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition delivers the original game, all previously released downloadable content, plus digital downloads of the 2011 release of Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors album with a bonus track, and the 1995 Mortal Kombat film on the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live.
Since this is a PC game the default way to play is with the keyboard, but I’d recommend investing in a controller or a fight-pad if you can find one that plugs into a computer; a keyboard just feels really awkward for a fighting game. The frame rate keeps a steady pace and everything is just really polished; I wasn’t expecting much but this really is a well done port. There is a huge amount of options to partake in, with hundreds of challenges ranging from destroying blocks in a certain time to fighting with certain options disabled, like the ability to jump. Old favourites all return, from Raiden to Liu Kang to Scorpion and Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage. This is a truly old school Mortal Kombat game.
