Obliteracers is chaotic fun. This indie battle racer delivers on fun gameplay and tons of explosions that make for a good party game. While you probably won’t play it on your own for very long due to the lack of matchmaking and career mode challenges, Obliteracers makes for a fairly entertaining experience when played in local multiplayer. The tons of modifiers and track options make for some cool customisation for your races, as well as a fun distraction for you and your friends.

Of course, for some, Obliteracers just won’t click. While fun, the singleplayer campaign doesn’t have much of a lifespan – a problem for those who don’t have the means to play online or locally with a group of friends. Then there are the raw mechanics, tuned to give Obliteracers a frantic, sometimes nonsensical feel. Needless to say, if you’re looking for something similar to Mario Kart, you’re in the wrong place.

If there's one thing gamers need; it's more kart racers. Obliteracers isn't your typical racing game but it does offer unique gameplay that can be very fun to enjoy with friends so invite the whole barn over and let's put the pedal to the metal!

Obliteracers is a cute, party-focused kart racing game with a medley of different playful weapons to pick-up and a selection of unorthodox looking characters to choose from. Sound familiar? Well, that's because it's a genre that has been well-and-truly mastered elsewhere, although it's also one that's surprisingly sparse on PlayStation consoles.
