Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a bold, dark, epic saga, featuring an astonishing replayability value. The developers have experimented with Kingmaker, and have gone all-in with Wrath of the Righteous, creating one of the best story-driven CRPGs of late.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a triumph of a game, and arguably the best isometric RPG since Planescape Torment.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a prime example of developers learning from the first game to improve upon the second. While there are still technical issues, it is a great game for Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder fans alike.

When it comes to computer roleplaying games, I suspect that most fans of the genre line up somewhere on a continuum that has the rules, stat and number obsessed at one end, and the lovers of good stories, grand adventures and memorable characters at the other. My bias is definitely towards story over slavish adherence to rules, but without the invisible hand of RNG underpinning the experience, you...

Featuring stellar depth and compelling storytelling, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the next logical step for the franchise. It improves upon its predecessor in every feasible way, despite it's intimidating exterior. This is an adventure that you won't want to miss.

Wrath of the Righteous is a beautiful love letter to tabletop RPGs that faithfully evokes the thrill of sitting down to play through an epic adventure.

Owlcat Games captured the creative freedom and magic of tabletop RPG adventure in a way few others do. There is such a good story here with characters and music that really push the desperation of survival in this game’s world. And you get to answer to the ongoing narrative with a character you can truly make your own both before the game begins and throughout the adventure. I wish it wasn’t so un...

It's undeniable that the past few years have been great for tabletop role-playing game fans who also happen to love video games, thanks to the release of some amazing games that manage to stay true to their RPG roots while offering excellent experiences. Among these games is Pathfinder: Kingmaker, a faithful adaptation of the tabletop game that unfortunately failed to be a game that even newcomer...

Wrath of the Righteous is a deep, engaging, faithful recreation of the tabletop campaign with only minor flaws. Its Crusade system is imperfect and the learning curve is more of a mountain, but the reward for getting through both is a long experience with incredible replay value. I know I will be replaying a few times soon, and I invite you to do the same.

An ambitious CRPG that follows the zero-to-hero formula to its conclusion, then keeps going.

Wrath of the Righteous is an extensive and ambitious RPG with plenty of spectacle, but a bloat of gameplay systems and unrefined ideas weigh down the experience.

I adore so much of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, from being able to play as an undead lich, to how the story adapts to that choice like you're playing through an incredibly detailed dark fantasy book. That's why I'm almost devastated by the game's lack of polish. It's unbalanced, there's bugs that forced regular restarts, and the console UI isn't suited to managing a crusade, which isn't as ...
