Professional reviews from gaming critics
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: "Mutagen Man Unleashed" was strong episode for Donatello, who's now slowly coming to terms with the April situation. Meanwhile, Casey Jones made a promising debut, as he went toe to toe with Mutagen Man. Oh, and Super Robo Mecha Force Five! Mutants Unleashed is rough around the edges, but it’s also surprisingly ambitious and gets the Mutant Mayhem Turtles spot-on.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleased isn’t the beat ‘em up 3D platformer you are expecting; instead, relationships are important, like in the Persona games.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is the latest outing for the green-skinned heroes in a halfshell. It picks up after the events of the 2023 movie
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem brings back the iconic quartet with a bloated yet entertaining reboot for a new generation of fans.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is a broken mess. The story lacks the depth of most other entries in the franchise, and the gameplay constantly stutters, leading to a nauseating experience. Further, the loading screens are egregiously long, and because of the lag, the game becomes completely unplayable. All this, combined with a rough visual style, makes Mutants Unleashed an experience that is impossible to recommend.
