Xbox 360 was home to some unique JRPGs, one of which was The Last Remnant with its battle system that has you command unions of troops. I remember enjoying it back in the day so I jumped at the opportunity to play this remastered version for PlayStation 4.

With the remaster of The Last Remnant now released everyone can relive what they loved about the game. For me, it was a big improvement over the original due to all the bugs that were fixed. I can play the game smoothly and without issues and now on my PlayStation 4. Listed on the PlayStation Store for only $19.99 USD anyone can have a blast with the game. I loved the remaster and I hope you do too.

All in all, I'd say that if you enjoyed The Last Remnant the first time around give this re-release a shot. And if you're looking for an old-school deeply challenging JRPG, this title will also be for you. It certainly wasn't for me, but I can respect what it tries to do. I just wish its unique and sometimes weird design decisions were explained a lot more to the player and for that reason, it comes just a bit short of being a truly good game to me personally.
