Lysfanga is Sand Door Studio’s first game in which you play Imë, the Lysfanga. In this top-down action, hack and slasher, Imë must fight back an old evil that has escaped and endangers the New Kingdom. Lysfanga caught my eye when I first saw the trailer during Summer Game Fest 2023. The assortment of magic spells, runes and weapons makes for many different ways to tackle and complete each arena. I love the use of remnants and how it adds a different layer of strategy to the game play.
Monster Energy Supercross- The Official Videogame 4 is fun racing game with a bit of a learning curve for the controls, but once you start to pick it up so does the fun.
Cyanide & Happiness Freakpocalypse is a point-and-click adventure with all the great comedy one comes to expect from the comics and animations. The story is great and there are many hidden funny gems to discover and unlock. With great voice acting and dialogue, this is a great opening to what is bound to be a fun trilogy.
Dark Devotion has been a challenging and interesting addition to the Dark Souls-like genre.
Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind is a great ending to an already great series. I love the cinematic scenes throughout the game. Since I’ve played this series for so long I’ve grown up with these characters and it has been great to see an arc come to its conclusion. This DLC does not change up any controls but it does add some cool additions like being able to play other characters in the DLC and a photo mode. I love the new additions as it doesn’t take away from the game but offer a little bit ...
Knights and Bikes is a great tale of adventure and friendship. I love the message that the game sends about the power of imagination and how it can help you overcome tragedies.
Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout has been a fun addition to the Atelier series. As a game that focuses on crafting, it has a wonderful crafting system. At the same time, it does not skip on the RPG and elements and questing. This was my first real playthrough of an Atelier game. With a great story and a deep crafting system and casual playstyle, it has been a joy to play.
Dauntless has finally released May 21, 2019, and we got a chance to get our hands on it. After being in open beta since May 2018. Dauntless now joins the very few games that can cross-play across many consoles most notably PS4 and Xbox. With over 5 million players, it is fine to call Dauntless a success. With that said, let us talk about our time slaying these behemoths. This is our Dauntless review.
In Maple Story 2 you are able to customize your character in a variety of ways. You are able to buy clothing items from the cash shop as well as chat bubble customization items and badges that change your name tag background. If buying an outfit does not fit your mood, you can take those merits and customize your own outfit via their Maple Workshop. It is, of course, recommend you have some knowledge of using a creative program to customize the templates. Not only can you customize your cloth...
I recommend giving this game a try if you love space exploration and some funny interactions with aliens. Being able to roam around on planets has been a new and interesting experience with all the different weather effects. Also to be noted and as you can see from some of the screenshots, this game has some beautiful artwork as well as great music. With so many different customization options this there is a lot of replayability. Again, if this all sounds like something up your alley give it...
