That is until you start setting things on fire, at which point the blaze spirals out of your control, all whilst you’re trying to remain undetected. Stealth games and me really don’t usually go well together, but I loved Wildfire. This is an addictive, immaculately designed stealth platformer puzzler hybrid, one whose inclusion of local co-op makes it near essential.
Much like its namesake, Wildfire takes a while to kick off, but once the perfect conditions are met, it can be chaos. The unique abilities make for interesting moments, which is needed thanks to the often monotonous stealth systems that plague the game. For those looking for a neat game to play co-op, you’ll find it in Wildfire.
I always get excited when I hear that Humble Bundle is about to release a brand new game. They have had a track record like few others can boast about in recent years, with hits like Slay the Spire, One Step from Eden and Void Bastards. Their latest release, which is currently a PC exclusive, is the stealth platformer Wildfire. Let’s see if this game will maintain Humble Bundle’s streak of fantastic indie hits.
