I loved Hammerwatch II's fighting and gameplay, but the lacklustre narrative, unrewarding sidequests, and uninformative quests and world traversal leave much to be desired.
Hammerwatch 2 retains the same Dungeons and Dragons feel as the original game, but this time is less friendly for those looking to play the game by themselves. There’s plenty to do, but sometimes it just feels like it was tacked on. Regardless, if you have some friends or randoms to play Hammerwatch II with you, it becomes a better experience.
Fantasy is probably my favorite genre. Make it a hack-and-slash RPG and I would be lying if I said I didn't expect it to be fun. Hammerwatch II picks up right where the original Hammerwatch left off, but can it live up to its predecessor? Let’s see.Read More
