Capes is a solid take on tactic-based gameplay in the world of superheroes. It can be a tad short but it’s a great time throughout!
Hammerwatch 2 retains the same Dungeons and Dragons feel as the original game, but this time is less friendly for those looking to play the game by themselves. There’s plenty to do, but sometimes it just feels like it was tacked on. Regardless, if you have some friends or randoms to play Hammerwatch II with you, it becomes a better experience.
Getselious ventures into a dark world and must destroy increasingly horrifying creatures, only wielding fierce weaponry & powerful magic in Bleak Sword DX. How does the game stack up? Things may look bleak, but it is never hopeless.
Wildfrost is an interesting roguelike deckbuilder game, that is a bit on the harder side that may put off people. Still, I’m looking for more people to dive into the game, find out strategies, and hopefully, the developer will tweak the game and release more content down the road.
Chinatown Detective Agency is a detective noir point-and-click adventure inspired by Carmen Sandiego. It involves real-world sleuthing that will take you out of the world in order to solve puzzles. It has great art and character designs. It also has good voice acting during most major cutscenes.
It only took a year for it to hit the PC and while it’s still a bit more technical than most fighters, it’s still enjoyable. Overall Skullgirls on Steam is somewhat superior that it’s console counterpart but not so much. It’s polished game in story, universe, characters, and art wise. It just falls a bit short in the game department due not having a way for players to ease into learning the game.
