Hello Kitty Island Adventure is an easy-going, cozy game. It can feel a bit overbearing with all that you can do.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an amazing experience and game, especially when you consider its development. Expedition 33 provides a narrative that gives you just enough to want to experience more, and combat gameplay that forces you to engage with its systems if you want to overcome everything that gets thrown at you.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land is a fantastic entry into the Atelier series. Yumia is a fantastic protagonist for the series, and Aladiss is a fun continent to explore.
Warriors Abyss is an amazing ride with tons of replayability. It has satisfying and addicting combat with tons of enemies to try new characters’ movesets on. The camera and all the effects can go crazy on you at times, but overall it’s a solid grab at only $25.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II capitalizes on the gameplay of the first game. It also enhances the animations and the effects of the predecessor.
Cuisineer has a very addicting gameplay loop of delving into dungeons and finding resources and ingredients. It does suffer from some of the choices made for enemies and the restaurant aspect.
Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is an amazing experience and story that rides the experience from the first game well. There can be some technical hiccups with the free movement features, but it doesn’t lessen the experience in combat.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is the series returning to a war simulator that adds a lot of tension with pushing your army closer to the enemy as a focus. The morale system comes back, but you are no longer able to play as any character you want.
Fairy Tail 2 was a fun and addicting time with great animations. It still suffers from choices made during the first game, but it is still a good time for Fairy Tail fans.
Shiren The Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island is a pure roguelike experience. It also is a very addicting roguelike experience.
