Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is a fantastic video game adaptation, and sequel fans have been waiting for, that nails the gameplay mechanics for combat, and captures the core aesthetics of the anime series. I will say that the price for the DLC is pretty high at $39.99. However, the amount of content and new features you get is well worth it.
When Attack on Titan season 1 first aired, I was immediately sold. From the unique art style, incredible animation to the deaths and violent fights to protect humanity from the titans, it was an instant hit all over. When the original Attack on Titan 2 was released, I heard many mixed reviews, more on the negative side, I decided to not pick this title up. But since its release, season 3 has aired...
So it’s up to you. If you already have Attack on Titan 2 and want more combat options and content, it’s yours for probably nearly what you originally payed for the game. But if you care about trophies or achievements, you’ll be massively let down by the fact that it has none. Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is a great game for those who have yet to take the leap into Omega Force’s handling of the story as the excellent combat mechanics and slew of game modes spread make for quite a meaty offering, though those who already played the original Attack on Titan 2 may find the price a bit too steep for these additions.

This content is pretty much dedicated to the Attack on Titan faithful. It's not enough content to justify a whole new game, but it does a good job at being a pretty beefy add-on, but the high cost of entry makes it a tough sell.
Outside of the story, the Territory Recovery mode is the biggest and most enjoyable addition to Attack on Titan 2. In this mode, you get to make your own regiment using your custom character and most of the main characters of Attack on Titan. You use up turns to move across the map to various missions, where you fight Titans with your team in order to claim territory and recruit new characters. Be...
Attack on Titan 2 Final Battle is a tough title to recommend to anyone. It runs poorly, the new targeting system doesn't work as it should, and the new modes simply aren't worth the investment. If you still want to give it a shot despite all of this, do yourself a favor and avoid the Switch version.
