Dark Void
Dark Void is a sci-fi action-adventure game that combines an adrenaline-fueled blend of aerial and ground-pounding combat. Set in a parallel universe called "The Void", players take on the role of Will, a pilot dropped into incredible circumstances within the mysterious Void.

Once Dark Void's brutally short campaign is over, the game is over. Without a multiplayer mode, Dark Void rests on its single-player. Unfortunately, it's not up to the standards set by the best.
Dark Void is all over the place. The story’s never explained adequately, the combat’s pretty much always a chore, and flying isn’t nearly as fun as it should be. I don’t hate Dark Void, but I don’t care for it, either. This is one of those titles that just exists; I doubt few will remember it this time next year.
Dark Void is a highly innovative action title, is in development with platforms being confirmed shortly. Developed by Airtight Games, Dark Void will deliver a groundbreaking combination of fast-paced vertical combat mixed with mid-air and on-foot action.
That said, there’s potential in some of Dark Void’s concepts for a great sequel. If Capcom choose to commission one that is.
Although I can’t confidently sit here and say that Airtight Games’ Dark Void was sent out to die by Capcom, I can quite confidently sit here and say that slashing their expected sales for the title in half before the game ships is a realisation from the publisher that it wasn’t as great a title as they had once hoped. In a relatively barren January, Capcom was hoping that Dark Void’s lure of jetpack gameplay would be enough to win the hearts of gamers worldwide, when in fact, the game...
