Deceit 2 is an excellent game that doesn't really feel like a sequel; the game is a much more refined version of the first game that has fleshed out many of the original mechanics and added even more.
The low price tag is a good point, but not enough of a saving grace to make us forget about the glaring gameplay and network issues, lifeless characters, and the single map at launch. Deceit 2 feels like an Early Access release turned official launch, a game that tried to reach a larger community, but by doing that forsakes what could have turned it into something special. It’s definitely not one ...
Overall, there are better games that achieve the same and more. Deceit 2 is worth picking up perhaps, once there have been some balancing adjustments and once more maps, Terror mutations, roles and skins get introduced.
