Dustforce easily merits the low, $10 barrier to entry. Some better in-game explanation concerning Dustforce’s content and mechanics would really help, but this addictive platformer succeeds nonetheless. The artful way the characters’ abilities allow you to move through the environment are entrancing, and the meticulously crafted levels create moments that made me look and feel awesome.
I didn’t even know there was a PC version of this game before I started playing the PS3 version, so I was delightfully surprised to find that Dustforce is the little platformer that could! *Author’s note: Many, many sweeping jokes were played with but I figured you’d heard them all by now. So, moving on.
Dustforce comes into its own after you've invested some time, transforming into a frantic and occasionally frustrating experience that manages to eke out repeat play.

If you’ve gotten this far into the review, your mind has likely been made already. Dustforce may look fabulous and has some really interesting ideas but the overall execution falls somewhat short of expectation. Though still enjoyable, the fiddly controls add an unnecessary amount of challenge, barring both younger audiences and casual platformer fans.
