To Nintendo fans who haven’t experienced Kingdom Hearts in its full splendor, this is an incredible time to jump in. These games are largely excellent action RPGs that are jam-packed with an out-there emotional story filled with oodles of Disney and Square Enix references. The curious thing I experienced while replaying a lot of these games is seeing the trajectory of how Kingdom Hearts seems to gain more and more confidence to be its own thing and not just reliant on its Disney influences. But even from the very first game, this is a series that uses Disney as a means to tell Sora’s story…
For just under a week, I’ve been making my way through the Kingdom Hearts Collection on PS5, ahead of its launch on the 8th October.
KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] is a wonderful bundle of everything Kingdom Hearts, and on the Switch 2 it's just perfection.
Kingdom Hearts Collection finally gives Nintendo players native versions, with most titles running smoothly at 60 FPS.
KINGDOM HEARTS finally arrives natively on the Nintendo Switch with the release of the KINGDOM HEARTS Collection (I-III).
Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite series for many reasons. The narrative, music, characters, worlds, combat, and everything else all come together in a package unlike anything else on the market. It’s incredibly special. Kingdom Hearts II, specifically, is one of my favorite games ever, and for that reason, I’ve been frustrated for years […]
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] brings nearly the entire series to Switch 2 with strong performance, portable play, Kingdom Hearts III, and Re Mind.
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] is a streamlined, all-in-one bundle that features Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind (DLC).
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] is the latest effort from Square Enix in bringing together the vast majority of legacy Kingdom Hearts titles together.
Kingdom Hearts Collection I ~ III | PS5 Review | Despite the few new features, this is the best way to experience an unforgettable journey.
Beneath its convoluted mythology, this sprawling retrospective proves Kingdom Hearts is still a series with heart.
While there aren’t any Switch 2-exclusive features, they run smoothly and play much as they do on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. If any gamer is dazzled by the Disney characters and wants to catch up before Kingdom Hearts IV, they should check out the Kingdom Hearts Collection on the Switch 2.
While I'm glad that The Kingdom Hearts Collection [1〜3] exists, it has some caveats existing owners must consider.
The Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] combines three different bundles to leave you with no excuse about finally playing these games.
Kingdom Hearts Collection I~III is perfect for those interested in delving into Disney and Square Enix's weird, wonderful, and often convoluted action RPG world for the first time, but for a longtime fan like myself, the lack of enhancements makes it hard to justify a purchase.
