They may have finally given us the lawn mowing game we’ve been dying for, but they weren’t standing pat with the only game that will ever matter. As I was getting started, the maniacs announced wheel support. That’s right. You can finally join me in lawn care bliss with a totally immersive lawn care pit right in your living room without doing a bunch of wiring or remembering to turn off the blades (sorry, Sparky!).

If you’re looking for a game that’s challenging yet relaxing, Lawn Mowing Simulator fits the bill. Starting up your own business, you need to choose your contracts carefully and mow lawns with care. And while it really does feel like work at times, there’s something seriously enjoyable about going back and forth in serene British parks and gardens, making them look prim and proper. Ultimately, Lawn Mowing Simulator is more addictive than it has any right to be.

Ultimately, I have mixed feelings about Lawn Mowing Simulator. On the one hand, the gameplay gets a bit monotonous after the first few levels, and building up your company requires quite a bit of grinding. But, it does exactly what you would expect in terms of offering a game about mowing people's gardens, maximising the laid-back vibes of cutting grass with a powerful machine.

Lawn Mowing Simulator does everything you would want it to. It is a well-detailed simulation of the act of mowing lawns. I’ve had some technical issues with using a controller, and the developers seem to have some strange notions on what inverted cameras are. Beyond that, the experience has been pretty smooth. If the title Lawn Mower Simulator appeals to you, then this game will absolutely meet your expectations. It’s good fun, it scratches the simulator itch and can be super relaxing when you want it.

A simulator that's actually good instead of a jank factory? Lawn Mowing Simulator will only appeal to a specific niche, but it's a fun, relaxing game that offers almost all of what it should.

I've got to admit that I've never been interested in cutting grass. Would I like to ride one of those monstrous mowers, recreating a scene from the classic film Caligula? (the link isn't wholly SFW, the film is highly NSFW) Yes, I would like to do that. However, Lawn Mowing Simulator doesn't offer me the chance to behead people, just weeds. Is that enough to carry the game?

I’ll be up front with you right away here and tell you that if you’re looking for a super highly detailed review from someone with actual landscaping experience, this is not that review.
