LEGO Voyagers is quite easily my favorite LEGO game ever. It's a super short, but endlessly sweet co-op journey that will tug at your heartstrings by the end and stick with you long after the credits roll. It's a story about growing up that resonated with me deeply, and I really must urge you to check it out with whichever type of co-op buddy you please. The barrier to entry is low and perfect for playing with a partner, sibling, friend, kiddo, or even a parent. I wish it was slightly longer so it had some more time to flesh out some ideas, but what's here is truly special, more than worthwhil...

This stress-free co-op adventure offers plenty of laughter, teamwork, and lighthearted puzzling as you and your partner explore a whimsical world built one brick at a time.

The natural world is a big part of LEGO Voyagers, but the game doesn't view the encroachment of modern technology with particular skepticism. It's suffused with the STEM fascination that has always surrounded the LEGO brand, simplifying the world of machinery into something that can enthuse a five-year-old. Playing through the game, I felt the part of my brain that once tricked me into thinking I should be an engineer waking up from its deep sleep.

A co-op only game in the vein of It Takes Two, LEGO Voyagers challenges players to navigate a wonderfully designed world as a couple of small bricks, rolling around while navigating platforms, building structures and solving puzzles. Its controls can be a bit fiddly at times, but overall it's a pleasure to play from beginning to end.
