To sum it up, for a $5 game, Let Them Come has a good amount of content for such a little price.
It may only grab your attention for a few short hours, but during that time, Let Them Come proves to be an enjoyable, uncomplicated and gore-laden alien blaster that has a certain 80s/90s sci-fi movie charm. There are far worse ways to spend six quid/eight bucks.
It’ll probably only take you two or three hours to make your way through Let Them Come‘s campaign, but it’s an absolute joy from start to finish. And with a wealth of additional content, you’ll find yourself going back time and time again. It’s one of those unassuming games that comes out of nowhere and blows your socks off, keeping you glued to your seat until you’ve finished it; a chunk of exhilarating arcade gaming action that’s not to be missed.
Let Them Come is the ultimate turret sequence. The game blasts past expectations with simple arcade gameplay and a solid presentation that combines the best of 90s shooters with heavy synth beats.
When the issues of a game are rolled and stomped by its greatness, then it’s something to invest on if you have some spare.
Let Them Come is an over-the-top call back to Sci-Fi tropes. If you like indie titles with self-aware, meta humor and RPG elements, Let Them Come is worth checking out. It’s got great pacing, it’s fun, and quite bloody! Seriously, who is going to clean up these hallways after Rock Gunar is done with them!?
