M∞N is Yume Nikki fangames, focusing on exploration and collecting effects. However, unlike most fangames, effects can be used both in the real world and dream world. You play as Tsumiki. Tsumiki is inside a spaceship and cannot exit. It contains parodies and references to pop culture such as famous art, anime, movies and video games.

When it comes to making a purchase decision on Moon, I encourage anyone that loves FPS games on DS to check this one out, as its technical offering, story, design, style, and control are all amazingly well done. The game can certainly get repetitive at times, as a few bosses are used multiple times with compounding difficulty elements added to them to change things up a bit (fight a guy, fight him with drones guarding him, fight him with drones guarding him and a shield disarm system), but for the most part Renegade Kid has offered an experience that’s more tuned towards the adventure side of...

One thing that players of Moon must understand is that it is not intended to be a Halo or Doom-esq shooter, it has far too many adventure / puzzle elements to be considered and out n’ out shooter. That said however, the shooting in the game is very well done and the puzzle elements likewise. Kane’s Remote Access Droid really brings out the best of the puzzles as it is used to navigate maintenance hatches that are otherwise inaccessible. By using the droid, the player can activate various witches and unlocks that open the path for the player to continue.

Every time Moon would lose me with its constant waiting around or head-scratching puzzle solutions, it would win me back with its humor, characters, writing, and music. This is a game that exudes joy, and while I wasn’t always having fun playing it, I am grateful that I at least got the chance to experience it.
