In the rare case it does show you a lobby that has a free spot, the game will not let you join, instead telling you the game has already been filled. If you decide to start your own lobby instead, you will have a long wait ahead of you: during one test, I actually waited fifteen minutes without a person joining which makes me question if my lobby got added to the list at all. Admittedly, these issues may possibly be blamed on my Internet connection, but I doubt it.
If you're looking for fun co-op multiplayer on the cheap, PayDay: The Heist fits the bill at $20. I enjoyed my time with it and want to play more with my friends. Working together to get the loot and the insanity of trying to get out alive are tense, enjoyable experiences. Issues like the clipping and generally "blah" presentation keep PayDay from being an amazing experience, but they don't stop it from being a good time.

PAYDAY: The Heist is a pretty sensational and different shooter in which, playing against the law, you will have the opportunity to participate in fun and challenging missions with others that will have many challenges and fierce enemies to fight. The game is truly addictive, and its flaws are forgettable when you learn the basics. If you have a small group of friends with whom you usually buddy up to play shooters, PayDay is definitely worth looking into. Despite only having six playable missions, there’s a ton of depth when you consider the titanic ranking system and numerous difficulty settings. On the flipside, if you’re the sort who likes to ruck up with AI partners then caution is advised; going solo is considerably more time-consuming and almost impossible if playing on Overkill difficulty.
