Hot and wild, it’s party night! Welcome to Club Velvet, where your favorite characters from Persona 3 and Persona 5 finally get their dancing debut with Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection. As the Persona series is well-known to be an extremely stylish RPG, you will be happy to hear that their dancing collection also provides the same pleasing aesthetics of blue and red. With the familiar soundtrack and the franchise’s lovable characters, Persona Dancing is perfect for those who want a fun, customizable rhythm game with costume changes for your favorite protagonists.
It's actually really hard to pick between the two which might be a better game, but for me, that Last Surprise remix in Dancing in Starlight really steals the show.
Persona is such a unique beast when it comes to JRPG’s. Originally born as an offshoot of an offshoot of the Shin Megami Tensei series, it’s since grown into one of the most recognizable Japanese RPG’s for its stylish presentation and social link aspects. Since then, Persona has evolved into a fighting game and not just one, but now three different rhythm games encompassing the latter half of the Persona series catalog.
2015's quirky spin-off Persona 4: Dancing All Night was a pretty cool portable rhythm game and now, it's available for PS4 along with 2 brand new dance games based on Persona 3 and Persona 5 in one convenient collection.
Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection offers a solid dose of Persona that fans off the series are sure to love, but the content is a bit thin and the rhythm game is mediocre at best.
Though Persona 4: Dancing All Night shines on the PS4, Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection fails to reach the high bar set by its predecessor.
