Samurai Warriors 4 DX is the best version of the ten-year-old game. The performance is smooth with a stable framerate on both PC and Steam Deck. The large amount of included DLC is a nice incentive for those who are only familiar with the vanilla version or simply missed out on the original when it arrived. Most of the DLC consists of cosmetic items such as new costumes or custom character creation parts, though. Overall, this is a great port of Samurai Warriors 4, but unless the inclusion of all the DLC is a major point of interest, there isn't much reason to revisit this game for those who a...
Samurai Warriors 4 DX is a solid port of Samurai Warriors 4 on the PC. It includes all the DLC and it is optimized well. The character models hold up and it’s awesome to finally get a fantastic way to play Samurai Warriors 4 on PC.
Ultimately, Samurai Warriors 4 DX is one of the most complete experiences in the franchise and it came with a pretty decent port to Steam. Although not the most customizable graphic experience, it stays true to what made it so great and would be a great acquisition at a discounted price.

This is a very odd release. No, I’m not mentioning this is a crappy drop by Koei Tecmo or anything like that. I can already inform you that, just like any other Musou game made by Omega Force (well, aside from the horrendous Dynasty Warriors 9), Samurai Warriors 4 DX is pretty fun, if you’re into this kind of mindless button mashing which requires ten of your brain cells at the very best. The thing is, this is Samurai Warriors 4. It was originally released back in 2014, with this specific...
Samurai Warriors 4 DX is a great entry into the Warriors series and bringing it back with all the DLC is wonderful. And it can run quite well on the Steam Deck.
