ScaryGirl looks great and plays well, even if enemy gangs cause cheap hits and target-based switches are annoying to hit. If you like a challenge, love finding collectables, and want a constantly evolving journey through 21 platforming levels, give ScaryGirl a chance. It rides that old-school balance of fun and frustrating down to the final boss fight.

Scarygirl offers some neat level design with some interesting perspective changes that keep things a little fresh while you venture through the 21 different levels. Each environment has its own set of environmental hazards, unique enemies, and visual flair. Some levels also feature multiple paths that you can take with some paths focusing on platforming and others on combat.
