Super Rude Bear Resurrection
Super Rude Bear Resurrection is a super tight masocore platformer that anyone can beat! Every time you die your corpse stays behind – making the game easier. As your bodies pile up, you can use them as carpets, meatshields and paperweights until the game becomes as hard as you’re comfortable with – but if you’re good enough you never have to die at...

Super Rude Bear Resurrection Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
There’s something truly special about a good masocore platformer. Due to their intense difficulty, the best of the genre (such as Super Meat Boy, N++) end up being a part of the few games that elicit a real sense of accomplishment upon finishing a level. That’s why I’ve always been willing to put in the time to learn level routes and replace the occasional controller that would mysteriously stop working.
This Teddy ain't nobody's fool; Super Rude Bear Resurrection is a game where you keep dying but the action doesn't!
On the whole though, I really do have to recommend Super Rude Bear Resurrection. In spite of its flaws in the closing hours, I knew that the brilliant game I’d started out with was still in there. This is something for everyone to try, whether you’ve beaten every Mega Man or didn’t complete the first level of Super Mario Land. Alex Rose Games has made a brilliant title here, and I sincerely hope it gets the success and attention it so rightly deserves for being an accessible and unique platformer with so much to offer.
Super Rude Bear Resurrection is one of the few games in which failure is part of the fun, and part of your success as the player. You’re meant to die, you’re meant to fail, as each failure can bring you closer to victory. It’s a game that requires skill and patience, but it’s also so ridiculous it doesn’t make you feel bad with repeated failure. It’s the most fun I’ve had sucking at a game since I first picked up a controller. If any of this strikes a chord with you, pick it u...
Super-tough platformers have been popular for years and they don't seem to be going anywhere. Super Rude Bear Resurrection may be one of the toughest games you'll ever play but is it worth all of the frustration?
Super Rude Bear Resurrection is a tough platformer with the interesting twist of using your previous failures towards your successful run, but sometimes too slippery platforming, mediocre design and distracting companion take away from what could be a fun romp through a terrible time.
Overall, Super Rude Bear Resurrection is a platformer, which shouldn’t slip under your radar, especially if you like getting kicked in the balls. You’ll die over and over again, but you’ll have a lot of fun doing so, while some grimey music blasts in the background. Also, be sure to try and beat the whole game without dying, there’s a $1000 waiting for you at the end of it.
