The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
With two great games, superb presentation and a sense that you're playing something different to the norm, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena comes highly recommended.
The action-packed game, a hi–def re-imagined version of 2004's Escape from Butcher Bay, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena features an entirely new chapter in the Riddick Saga and for the first time, intense online multiplayer combat.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a difficult game to judge. The first half of the game, Escape from Butcher Bay, certainly shows its age, but is still an innovative game. It seems that with The Chronicles of Riddick, Starbreeze has brewed up a concoction that is gory, dark, and scratches at the underworld of all the nasty things that exist in this and other dimensions. The pseudo-sequel to Escape from Butcher Bay rears its ugly head on the 360 and has much to prove after the underground success of its predecessor. Can Assault on Dark Athena meet...
