Tormentum: Dark Sorrow Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
With all that said, Tormentum - Dark Sorrow is a game that will make you think about the nature of good and evil as well as various other philosophical topics. Its artwork is fantastic, gameplay is straightforward, puzzles challenging and is everything someone would want in a point and click adventure game. Other than a few missed opportunities, Tormentum - Dark Sorrow needs to be played by anyone who can get their hands on it.
Strange lands, Horrific Sights, and Questionable Creatures. Take a look at a dark point and click adventure game with art inspirations from H.R Giger and Zdzislaw Beksinski. Is this dark game worth your money?
Tormentum – Dark Sorrow is grim, depressing, and not for the faint of heart. As for the replay value, one must note that every moral decision the player will make in the game will will affect the game’s ending. One wrong choice will actually make the player “lose” the game, and by losing means not passing judgment, and will condemn the protagonist to the depths of hell. There is no manual save button or checkpoints that you can go back to in case you make a wrong decision, so one is left with no choice but to replay the game from the start to achieve redemption. There are also 34 achievements that you can unlock.
