Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate

Warriors Orochi 4 is a great offering in the tactical action genre with massive scale, excellent combat solid RPG offerings. Some repetitive NPC usages coupled with the grindy nature of the title might be a turn off to sum. However, if you are someone who loves develop overpowered characters and teams, is a completionist at heart or is looking for a title to grind through while binging whatever is on Netflix, Warriors Orochi 4 delivers!

If you’ve already played and enjoyed Orochi 4 itself, the Ultimate expansion makes everything better. The only downside is the asking price ($39.99) for existing owners of the game is a bit high for an add-on, but…you really do get a lot for the money. If you’re a fan and you haven’t already bought this, it is a worthwhile purchase. If you are more casually interested in Warriors stuff, maybe wait for a sale….but still get it. Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is a fun experience to be had, both solo and with a friend. There is quite a bit to do from the game modes to character unlocks and even leveling and finding the best weapons. Yet, even with that being said, the game at times can feel stale or even daunting because of how much work you have to put into the game just to possibly find officers you like and enjoy playing with.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate new content and expanded story take what was originally a fine crossover brawler and take it a notch higher but this bit of new content may not be worth the upgrade for those who already cleared the base game.

At this point, you are most likely either in or out when it comes to the series. Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is a fun Warriors game, but won't change your mind on the genre.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate takes a great musou game and expands it. The Infinity Tower is an enjoyable way to grind for rare gear and high levels and the additional story campaign chapters and characters extend the life of this title. This is one of those games where the final verdict is somewhat up for debate. On one hand this is the definitive version of the game and if one had to choose between this or the 2018 release this would be the recommended version hands down.
