Trials Fusion Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
Trials Fusion offers players an unlimited array of obstacles and challenges as they race against the clock – with players from around the globe – to set track records.
Trials Fusion is definitely another Trials game, but quality content helps to make this a good thing!
“Trials Fusion gracefully sidesteps the same-old treatment with new flavors and added complexity that build on RedLynx’s well-established foundation.”
Familiarity breeds contempt, or so they say. But I don’t think this well-worn phrase applies in all circumstances. In the case of Trials Fusion, it would seem that familiarity has bred, well, simply, familiarity. Yes, it feels like we’ve been here before, partly because we have. But when it’s executed with such finesse, is that such a bad thing?

A fun game for a first timer like myself, but I can't help but think there was a near-perfect formula that has been overly tinkered with before I got here.Free flash game sites were some of my biggest time wasters when I was a college student with [...]
All in all it's difficult to recommend Awesome Level Max to anyone other than those who really love Trials. The part of the DLC that was supposed to be fresh and different doesn't really work, and when you consider what that leaves, this then becomes just another level pack, much like the six others already released. If you're hungry for more content by all means give it a go, but you're not missing a whole lot if you skip this one. At the same time it's still Trials Fusion, and Trials Fusion is still a bloody great game!
Trials Fusion takes a few steps back in it's track design and variety, but the same great physics-based platforming is intact and tighter than ever, lessening the blow of the potential disappointments. First timers looking to get initiated should find this to be the most accessible Trials yet, while veterans will stay plenty busy chasing the newly added challenges tacked onto each course, even if they are utterly vague at times. With the lack of online multiplayer at launch being an absolute shame, we can only hope that the deep track creator will produce enough entertainment to keep adrenalin...
There is a certain level of skill and frustration that is created as a result of the Trials games, and its easy enough to say that it is probably what brings people to purchase them time and time again. We can be happy in knowing that the latest game in the franchise is just like those of the past and remains just as enjoyable. The latest game in the franchise, Trials Fusion, is the first of its kind to get a proper release on blu-ray and it offers plenty to new and old alike.
