The Dark Ages is the best post-reboot game in the series. It may not distance itself from the predecessors (both are great), but none of them pulled me in so hard and for so long. What’s more, I just sat through the end credits and I immediately want to begin the slaughter again.
Split Fiction is yet another triumph for Josef Fares. In the area of co-op experiences, nobody has even come close to what Hazelight proposes. No one can top this brilliant and incredibly difficult to execute gameplay formula. I can’t wait to hear the developers fiery speech at this year’s Game Awards, when he will undoubtedly receive another trophy.
GreedFall 2 will go down in history as perhaps the first RPG to be labeled a "follower of Baldur's Gate 3". It's a pity that there are no other reasons to remember this game for now. At the start of early access, it seems to be a big step back compared to the first version.
After showing the gameplay to the press, I was not favorably disposed towards Nobody Wants to Die. However, the creators from Wrocław managed to break my skepticism after just fifteen minutes of play. Even though I found myself yawning at times, I won't soon forget this transhumanist neo-noir adventure.
Seven years of production resulted in a game that lasts only seven hours (more or less). Short? Yes, but I probably won't forget a single second of those seven hours for the next seven decades of my life. Hellblade 2 is a masterpiece.
Despite the flawed gameplay, Indika is still a must-play. Or, since it’s more than just a game, is it a “must-experience”? And when the game is finally patched out, you’re up for an unforgettable cultural roller-coaster.
All in all, The Thaumaturge is a game I won’t forget anytime soon. I even intend to play it again from the beginning as soon as Polish VO is added – and that’s something I didn’t declare for any title in a very, very long time.
Having successfully tested AC Origins, Ubisoft sent all its forces into battle with the order: "Make me the killer of The Witcher 3!" Assassin's Creed Odyssey does not emerge victorious from the clash with the Polish RPG - but it still comes back with a shield.
This was supposed to be the RPG of the year. In fact, it was supposed to be a strong candidate for game of the year. Vampyr delighted with its vision, hypnotized its atmosphere and promised groundbreaking solutions. What came out of all this? A title whose memory will make us sad for a long time...
Spiders Studio specializes in RPG games, but it's not very good at them... Correction: it hasn't done well so far - The Technomancer shows that a little practice will make the creators of Mars: War Logs and Bound by Flame masters.
