After more than 20 hours with Arkane Austin's latest Redfall, Bradford came away incredibly frustrated and disappointed. From its earliest moments, Redfall fell flat. With the uninspired world building to the lackluster gunplay and brain-dead enemies, almost every aspect of Redfall was a miss.

However, if you just wanted more of the same, this isn’t necessarily a bad year to skip the game and save your money. That’...

All in all, The Long Journey Home is an incredibly complex game. It’s controls take the patience of a saint in order to get used to. Its core, intriguing elements are weighed down by the repetitive and frustrating mini-games you are forced to slog through. The Long Journey Home isn’t a bad game by any stretch – underneath all that is a story that yearns to be told, and is worth sitting through. Unfortunately, getting to the story is a maddeningly frustrating task.

Styx: Shards of Darkness is an incredibly fun game - provided you are ok with slowing down the pace and willing to put up with uncompromising stealth. If you are looking for an action heavy stealth experience, this isn’t really your cup of tea. However, if you’re like me (though I’m terrible at stealth on the whole) and want a great, difficult challenge, Styx: Shards of Darkness might be right up your alley.
