Diablo IV hit the ground running last year with an incredible campaign storyline, and I have been eagerly waiting to find out what would happen next ever since. Over the past week, I played through the Vessel of Hatred expansion and checked out the new season. During this early access period, I played on a pre-launch build, which had quite a few bugs that should be fixed in the launch version. There have also been many changes and improvements to leveling, so there were no max-level character...
It’s been a few weeks since Diablo IV saw its full launch, and real-life interferences notwithstanding, I’ve had the chance to dig into what it offers. I’ve also had an opportunity to get a feel for the shop and what server stability has been and seems to be moving forward. All of this, of course, might change a bit once we get into the seasonal content. That, however, is a problem for another day. Today is about Diablo IV’s launch state. Additionally, I’m not going to retread the g...
Now that I’ve been able to spend more time in Wrath of the Lich King Classic and raiding is in full swing, I have started to remember everything I enjoyed about Wrath the first time around. The second time around still feels more buggy than the first time, but I am enjoying the experience.
It's been almost three weeks since Diablo: Immortal was finally released in its full version to everyone. Since then, I have been avidly playing and enjoying the gameplay; and yet this is the most complicated review I've ever had to write. The reason for this is that DI is two games in one, the actual gameplay we all expect from Diablo games and the monetization schemes which add another layer to everything. One is an excellent experience that leaves me excited to see what's next, while the o...
I've been diligently playing the release version of Solasta: Crown of the Magister since about a week before it launched. I also played a bit during early access, which allowed me to see how much it changed during the early access period and compare that with the launch version of Solasta. This is, without a doubt, the most faithful adaptation of D&D into a video game I have ever played. Some other games might be a bit more polished or fancy in certain aspects, but none offer detailed impleme...
It's been a little over three weeks since the eighth expansion for World of Warcraft launched. Since then, I have leveled up my main, started in on the various max level activities, and worked on an alt a bit. I've also had some time to step into the new raid and experience some of it, and the first Mythic+ and PVP season has started as well. The only thing which isn't fully open yet is LFR as we are just getting the first wing of that starting this week. Nonetheless, the expansion is in full...
I’ve only really scratched the surface of things which are going on in this game and trust me I haven’t covered everything by far. This game has a ton to offer to both new CRPG players and players who have been around the genre for a while.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the best game in this trilogy and was well worth the wait. I've been trying to hold myself back with gushing about all the things so I don't spoil it for everyone, but seriously this game is a masterpiece. Yes there are somethings which bothered me while playing but overall the experience was magnificent and should not be missed.
Overall Anamorphine is a touching and interesting story which is infinitely relatable. I wish the storytelling had been a bit more varied and I hadn’t had my issue with motion sickness. All of that said, if you enjoy narrative exploration games this is a good one to check out.
Overall Ys VIII the Lacrimosa of Dana is a compelling and entertaining JRPG. I often found myself torn between pushing the main story forward and doing all the side activities, but the real tell was I just really enjoyed spending time in the game no matter what I was doing. The graphics, music, and game mechanics all work well together to provide many hours of delightful and fun entertainment.
