It goes a long way in bringing two of the last generation’s best games visually up to date, and their gameplay hasn’t aged a bit. In fact, thanks to 60fps and up to 4K visuals, it’s better than ever before. Of course, PC remains the best way to play both of these titles, and both are also cheaper on that platform, but console owners won’t be disappointed if they pick this bundle up. Despite some weird framerate issues during cutscenes in both games, Bayonetta and Vanquish are both well worth your time (although I’d personally lean toward Bayonetta more if I was forced to pick between the two). If you don’t mind the occasional difficulty spike, and especially if you’ve never played either title before, this dual-pack release is definitely worth picking up.

Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle brings together two of PlatinumGames’ best, giving them a fresh coat of paint to stand up to the visual standards of this decade. Vanquish is the clear winner of the two here, with some visually fantastic improvements, but both play just as well as they did ten years ago. While it's disappointing that bonus content isn't included, they’re still games any action fan shouldn’t miss.

Bayonetta and Vanquish were some of the studio’s earlier creations that set the tone for what it was capable of. The BAYONETTA AND VANQUISH 10TH ANNIVERSARY BUNDLE complies both of those fondly remembered titles in one package that mysteriously fails to add any celebratory extras or updates. However, it does serve as a great reminder of their timeless, genre-defining action gameplay.

They form a curious pairing, considering Bayonetta went on to become a successful Nintendo-published franchise, while Vanquish stayed in relative obscurity.

The Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle isn't a sexy release by any means. Besides the nice steelbook that the physical version of the game comes with, there's not a lot else included in this package other than the expected slight boost in graphical prowess. This collection will surely please both longtime fans and new ones who have been looking to give both of these titles a shot, but it's hard to say that there is anything else all that alluring included here. This is just your pretty standard, run of the mill remaster of two great games - nothing more, nothing less.
