The Delicious Last Course? More like Decadent Dessert, as every single bite through this Cuphead DLC is as rich as it is satisfying.
Island 4 and all that comes with it make an amazing game even better. This DLC is perfect for those who want to see Cuphead at its best. There is no fat; there is no fluff. There are only the best parts of Cuphead but much, much more refined.
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course is an incredible experience that everyone who possibly can should play through. The animation work is consistently jaw-dropping, with an imagination to it you have to see to truly understand. Ms. Chalice and the new weaponry and charms are an excellent addition to what was already a stellar package and you can even complete all of it on the simple mode for once! Everyone should at least see if not play this expansion, it is truly wonderful.
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course is a tasty treat for fans, bringing new and imaginative boss battles and greater challenges.
Like the devil at the heart of Cuphead, The Delicious Last Course demands your blood, sweat, and soul... where do we sign up?
After all these years there still isn’t anything quite like Cuphead. I wish that we got more than a few hours’ worth of stuff, but the nature of The Delicious Last Course augmenting the original game means that it’ll impact every timeless future playthrough. If you hated the game before, the DLC won’t do much to change your mind. If you loved it, you should probably pick it up immediately.
While short, The Delicious Last Course certainly does not lack in quality and depth. It fine-tunes the best parts of Cuphead with its captivating art style and challenging boss battles while also providing deep and meaningful additions to the game with new weapons, items, and gameplay mechanics. The Delicious Last Course condenses everything that made the base game so triumphant into one package and adds a few finishing touches to make this a proper send-off for Cuphead and Mugman after half a decade in the spotlight. Its title rings true to its nature; it is a delicious last course.
Sharpen your knives and reflexes for this tasty side dish.
Everyone's favourite cup-headed run 'n' gunner is back with a new friend in Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course so get ready to shoot.
If you’ve been longing for more Cuphead, then The Delicious Last Course is for you. But if you were, for whatever reason, hoping for a big shake-up in terms of gameplay or difficulty, you’re not going to find it here. Brutal but beautiful, this is simply more Cuphead, be that for better or for worse.
For those that can enjoy the intense challenge of a multi-stage boss fight — and I count myself among them — Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course offers some of the best stages and artwork in the game. There’s no filler here, and every fight stands out as a memorable experience, from a bearded stone golem and his pack of evil gnomes to a train-riding cow who sees the business end of a pressure cooker only to keep on fighting. If you’ve been desperate for more Cuphead, this is likely the last new content you’ll see. Thankfully it’s a hell of an encore for Cuphead, Mugman, and now, Ms. Chalice.
It feels like it has been forever, but Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course is finally here and ready to kick my ass, and I couldn’t be any happier. It’s been quite a while since the original release, with plenty of re-releases through the years on other platforms, but this is the first time we have actually gotten new content for Cuphead. So how does The Delicious Last Course stack up against the original? Let’s find out.
