Disgaea 5 is one of the premier strategy/tactical role-playing games. It is the best game in the series, mechanically, offering a lot of content and possibly 100+ hours of enjoyment.

Almost too much of a good thing.

Beneath its lackluster story, Disgaea 5 is crawling with stuff to do and, thanks to its great gameplay, you’ll always find yourself itching to come back for more.

Overall, this is another solid entry in what is effectively the pinnacle of the strategy RPG genre. Like the games before it, Disgaea 5 provides plenty of laughs, a large dose of strategy action and a humongous amount of content.
