Reckoning is a workmanlike interpretation of what makes an RPG tick, placing a spotlight on all the right mechanics and features that most titles struggle to perfect.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning ultimately feels like the most engaging action game ever created. The deep customization, leveling, and crafting systems put it miles ahead of other games that fall into that category.

So, not a hell of a lot of difference between the two versions aside from what we’ve mentioned already. Really, it’s down to what you really feel like playing it on: if you’re not too fussed about the visuals, then a console version may be a good shout as you’ll get the added bonus of easy-to-access DLC and of course, achievements/trophies.
