Quantum Conundrum takes alot of the core features of Portal and builds off of them in thoughtful ways, it just doesn't quite hit the same marks in the story telling department however. There are plenty of puzzles to engage your gamer brain throughout the 6-7 hour campaign, and there's a bit of replay value thrown in with the ability to go back and collect hidden items.
Quantum Conundrum's inventive puzzles put your brain to satisfying work. Everything surrounding the challenges feels a little empty and could use some of the rest of the game’s ingenuity. But a disappointing ending and lack of visual detail shouldn't keep you from the thrill of inter-dimensional puzzle solving. The foundation has been laid, and I hope to be cracking many more Quantum Conundrums in the future.

The game may have been looked to as another revolutionary physics masterpiece from the mind behind Portal, but the result is far more approachable to both fans of platforming in general, and those who adored the spiritual predecessor. Either way, the experience is one that either group will absolutely want to experience. And at the price, it's one of the better 3D platformers available anywhere.
Anyone looking for a fun, light-hearted (but with a mean edge – the list of things you’ll never get to do with your life the game shows after you die for example) and challenging environmental physics-based puzzle game that isn’t Portal will do well to pick up Quantum Conundrum. It’s funny, it’ll push your mind to breaking point but never go over, and is expertly designed and polished to perfection.
