Sins of a Solar Empire Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
Sins of a Solar Empire is a real-time space strategy title under development at Ironclad Games. Unfolding the fate of three unique factions, Sins of a Solar Empire is the first chapter in an epic science fiction saga.
While perhaps more like a remaster of Sins of a Solar Empire than a sequel, Sins of a Solar Empire 2 is a robust RTS, and you can play it just fine on the Steam Deck.
With its mix-and-match gameplay, Sins is certainly a title out of the ordinary, but very much an acquired taste. However, once you've acquired the habit, it's a tough one to break.
Sins of a Solar Empire 2's spectacular space battles are an excellent reward for learning to manage at least some of this complex real-time strategy epic's systems.
So along comes Sins of a Solar Empire, looking to fill up that black hole with a meaty asteroid of RTS gameplay.
