Developer Red Fly Studio is known to the Nintendo faithful already as the force behind the solid action experiences of Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars and the Wii edition of Ghostbusters: The Video Game. With Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, the company's designers were once again handed the responsibility of bringing a multiplatform project to the Wii hardware and making it feel fully at home here. Even Star Wars fans should avoid this outing, lest their hearts and hands be broken as mine were.
Unleashing a top-level force lightning onto a group of foes
The Force Unleashed, when it was released back in 2008, was generally held as the ultimate fantasy simulator, as it finally let everyone be the Jedi badass they had always longed to be, wielding ridiculously powerful abilities and batting aside foes imperiously. Despite a few minor niggles, the game was pretty much a roaring success and left most fans clamouring for more. So with the inevitable sequel now amongst us, it’ll be interesting to see how they can possibly craft a title around a m...
