Professional reviews from gaming critics

Telltale has once again delivered a well-written adventure, this time with an added dose of stylish noir presentation. Faith begins Sheriff Bigby's adventure with an introduction that’s funny, brutal, and mysterious in the best possible ways. If this inaugural episode of The Wolf Among Us is any indication of the rest of the season, then Telltale's latest adventure game is set to provide an adventure every bit as memorable as Lee and Clementine's.

This first climatic episode will leave players emotional, shocked and feening for more. An unexpected moment occurs at the game's conclusion, leaving an imprint on your daily thoughts. The next episode is guaranteed to be a hit, merely for an explanation. For fans of the Fables graphic novels, or of Telltales previous work, The Wolf Among Us is a must play. It will reel you in, and have you demanding more.

The story of The Wolf Among Us is based upon an existing comic book fiction, however even if you have not heard of the Fables comic book series you can still enjoy the familiar fairy tale characters living in a gritty New York City. Characters from stories like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beowulf, Beauty and the Beast are all present with quality voice acting and writing.

The characters are all interesting and have compelling relationships that I’m eager to learn more of, the shocking detective story at play already has me desperate to continue like only the best storytelling can do, and the art is just amazing. I happi...
