Trüberbrook is a point and click role playing game that spawned from a kickstarter project in November 2017, and after looking through the kickstarter project
Trüberbrook is a mystery adventure game developed by a small team called BTF. It tells the story of a nerdy physicist named Hans Tannhauser who wins a free trip to a small town in Germany, called Trüberbrook. While this may seem like a nice, quaint little town at first, Tannhauser quickly finds out that something is amiss when his notes are stolen from his hotel room. One thing leads to another and Tannhauser has teamed up with Gretchen Lemke, a paleontologist, who agrees to help him hunt for his notes, which ultimately ends being the adventure of a lifetime. Trüberbrook is filled with loads o...
Truberbrook has a few faults, but its engaging characters, enjoyable narrative, and fantastic atmosphere make it easy to recommend.
The point-and-click adventure game hasn't been this charming in years.
If you don’t mind some wonky voice-acting, there’s plenty of charm to be found in Trüberbrook's engrossing and rustic sci-fi tale.

Trüberbrook is a good but not excellent point and click experience. The eight-hour journey has a fantastic start but is dragged down by some flat reveals and conclusions. The story feels really forced towards its conclusion, which is honestly quite undeserved. Trüberbrook's cast of colorful characters and its presentation are truly a delight, which help to elevate the proceedings. The only problem I had on the gameplay side was, quite frankly, a rather big one. The title's inventory system could use a bit of a tune-up to make it fully come into its own. If you can overlook these problems, Tr…
In btf's new adventure game, a vacation in the tiny village of Truberbrook could lead to the destruction of the universe.
Trüberbrook isn’t without its charm, though. Despite the dull protagonist, the game’s story is engaging, and the smatterings of humour will occasionally raise a smile. Equally appealing is Trüberbrook’s graphical style, particularly when you’re able to behold the backdrops in all their glory. But considering how many logic-defying hoops you’ve got to jump through and the company you’ll be keeping, the journey to Trüberbrook is only for the patient.
One of the best looking point ‘n’ click adventures ever made, but the unique visuals don’t compensate for illogical puzzles and a weak script.
It’s clear from the opening moments: my time with Trüberbrook was destined to be zany, trope-filled fun. It’s hard to ignore after all, the first scene sees us discover Gretchen, a paleoanthropologist that arrives at an abandoned gas station due to her motorbike breaking down. The area, like much of the game, is a set piece that effectively showcases the brilliant and real model scaling. This work is reminiscent of designs like the classic Wallace and Gromit.
