Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline brings familiar faces to new places, and if you can stand the tonal in-fighting, it's a worthwhile, occasionally daring story-driven adventure.
If you’re a big fan of the original Watch Dogs, there’s no doubt you’ll get a kick out of stepping into Aiden Pearce’s Iconic shoes once more. Watch Dogs Legion: Bloodline tells a decent story, but it doesn’t do a great deal to expand the game’s world in any meaningful way. It’s another excuse to roam around London and gawp at the beautiful sights – but aside from one truly standout gameplay section, that’s about it.
A little over six months since its PlayStation 5 debut, Watch Dogs Legion is undoubtedly in a better place. It was fun to explore the different ability sets, but the missions across London never felt like they were anything more than endless side activities stripped out of another open-world adventure. The release of Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline adds the character focus that the main campaign sorely needed with the help of a grizzled Aiden Pearce and Wrench from Watch Dogs 2. Not only do players get to bring these two iconic characters into th...
While Bloodline doesn’t reinvent the wheel or take any substantive risks, it does a great job at bringing together the new world of Legion with old world of Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2 to offer a short but focused Watch Dogs experience.
