This Is the Police 2
Before the balance patch, I really did think the game was just too hard. However, if you are a fan of the first This is the Police you will enjoy the second game. If you didn't play the first entry and are looking for a cop simulation game, give This...
Dark Souls: Remastered
Dark Souls Remastered has aged well, despite the progress of its successors. Newcomers might fight it abrasive, but it is still worth a pickup for old fans and new alike. Here's to a release of Demon's Souls Remastered.
The Swords of Ditto
The Swords of Ditto is a charming rogue-lite with a robust challenge. Fans of top-down action-adventure games won't be disappointed.
Extinction
Extinction is a tough sell at its current price point of $60. If you enjoy killing giant monsters, wait for a massive price drop or pick up Attack on Titan 2 instead.
Crossing Souls
Crossing Souls is a solid action game with a fun cast and enjoyable fights. If you are looking for some old school beat-em-up action in this day and age, check it out.
If you had your fill with the original Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, then you won't find much different in Hacker's Memory. However, if you enjoyed the original and want more, then there is plenty to chew on here.
Nioh: Complete Edition
If you have Nioh on the PlayStation 4, there isn't a big need to upgrade to the Complete Edition. If you haven't played Nioh and you like action RPGs set in ancient Japan, this is the game for you.
Wolfenstein fans will enjoy Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, but it is hard to justify the $60 price point for what is in the package. If you aren't a fan, wait for a price drop or give it the Redbox treatment.
Super Mario Odyssey
If you're a Switch owner, you probably already have Super Mario Odyssey. If you do not, and you even remotely enjoy platformers or Mario, I don't know what you are waiting for - pick up this game.
During my playthrough, I didn't run into any bugs or crashes. While I enjoyed the game, as a newcomer I did feel overwhelmed by a lot of the stuff coming at me early on in the game. I also felt like it took far too long to get to the...
SteamWorld Dig 2
While in docked mode, I ran into no issues and the game looked good. In handheld mode, it also ran smooth and handled fine. Honestly, if you are thinking about playing just a little bit before bed, you might just want to leave it in the dock. I found myself...
Pokkén Tournament DX
Pokkén Tournament DX can be enjoyed by just about anyone. Whether you are a fighting game fan or are just looking to get your toes wet, it is a great title for both newbies and pros alike.
