Button City
A sweet adventure game in a diorama world, some of its mini-games aren't great, but they don't detract much from arcade-obssessed animals and a lovely story.
The Ascent
It gets off to a slow start, but once you've found a few weapons and augmentations The Ascent offers fun top-down action and a stunning cyberpunk world to explore.
Resident Evil Village
This first-person horror game gets off to a terrific start, but gets a bit too action-packed in its second half.
NieR RepliCant
A great action-RPG with a compelling story, blighted by taxing replays that feel mandatory.
Yakuza 6 is an excellent final chapter for Kiryu, and it runs wonderfully on PC.

Dark Souls III is riveting, emotional, stunning and menacing. It immerses you in a fully realised world packed with secrets and backed by a sublime soundtrack. It’s jaw-dropping throughout and it’s an honour to have experienced. In so many ways it succeeds, but its increased accessibility strips it of the...
I’m already itching to get back into the Gungeon. Even if it’s occasionally frustrating, it’s still an addictive, rewarding experience. Polished gameplay and accessibility make way for fun, frantic and stylish firefights, whilst the classes add variety and cater to different playstyles. It’s a game that feels great to play...
