Professional reviews from gaming critics
It’s safe to say that if you don’t have a high-end PC, Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director’s Cut on Wii U is the definitive version of the game. Sure you can get second-screen content on the other systems, but you would need either a PS Vita or a smartphone on PS3 or Xbox 360 respectively to enjoy it, and even then it’s not as convenient as using the Gamepad and having every single necessary button and feature right on the fly. It's not easy being a technological leader, and augmenting the human body through new metal parts causes lots of people to get angry. In this case though, bringing down the people who get angry with those new metal parts is highly encouraged. Move to Detroit - it'll get better.
The Director’s Cut version also finally includes the Missing Link DLC. They’ve also been kind enough to include the full strategy guide for your viewing pleasure. Another neat touch that has been included is a commentary track that allows you to get an insight into the developer’s initial creation process. You can also take a further look with the Making Of documentary. There’s a lot here for Deus Ex fans, and it’s worth the purchase if you’ve never played it before.
