Escape Plan Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
Still, the game absolutely reeks of nonsense and humor, which is exactly what you'd expect from a team partially comprised of the squad that brought PlayStation Network gamers Fat Princess several years ago. Appropriately priced on the PSN at $15, Escape Plan is a worthy purchase, especially if you're looking for a pick-up-and-play game that can be digested very slowly, one morsel at a time. I just hope Fun Bits Interactive gets a crack at a sequel, because Escape Plan can easily be better than just great.
Lil and Laarg aren't the type of guys to make their prison beds and lie in them. Captured by the tyrannous Bakuki, the duo quickly embark on an escape mission through roughly 80 rooms of Escape Plan's labyrinthine prison.
Escape Plan is a frustrating adventure that rarely gets a chance to show its true potential
Escape Plan has come to the PlayStation 4, but it fails to make the transition cleanly. The puzzles are dull and the controls are ill fitted to the new system. I wouldn't recommend playing Escape Plan, but if you absolutely must make sure it's the Vita version.
Admittedly, I didn’t know much about Escape Plan until I was doing a little digging around the internet looking for a downloadable game to play during an upcoming vacation. I happened to stumble upon some reviews for Escape Plan. Being quite positive, I thought I’d give it a try and dropped the $15 bucks to download the game. After some extended playtime with Escape Plan for the Vita, I am impressed with the games presentation. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the rest of the experience.
