When entering online I was greeted with the surprise of a daily challenge. This consists of a challenge that has you doing version things to earn XP. An example of this is playing as raven and besting 5 other raven players online in any game mode. This was a nice surprise And just another nice touch among many. When playing online you have the option to play in a player match. Ranked magch or a private match. Ranked matches are always 1v1 and when playing in non ranked matches you have the option to play 1v1, koth and survivor. Online system was extremely clean and extremely easy to get into a match.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition makes the fighting game genre highly accessible. This DC Comics-themed brawler may be covered in Mortal Kombat’s blood, but that basis means that it’s built around a solid combative core, some classic input commands, and a surprisingly engrossing storyline. Granted, the differences between this PlayStation 4 port and its current generation counterpart are minor, but they’re enough to provide newcomers with the opportunity to experience the definitive version of an already solid fighting title.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is an exciting, unique-feeling fighter at the beginner level, and a deeper, more interesting one at the advanced level. Story mode is a pleasant surprise, but the real reason to play is the thrill of harnessing the god-like powers of some of the most overwhelming figures in the comic realm. Ultimate Edition on PS4 and PC is the best-looking, most complete version you can buy right now, but if you already own Injustice on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, there isn’t much reason to upgrade, especially if you already bought the DLC.
