Overcooked belongs in the hall of fame of couch co-op with its delicious blend of tense gameplay and imaginative level design.

This co-op cooking game is chaotic bliss.

Aside from from the local-only consideration and some inconsistencies with the scoring criteria and stage layouts, man, what a game. Overcooked is the best co-op experience I’ve had in recent memory, and despite going back through to fully clear every level, I wish there were more. Don’t overlook it.

With simple controls and an easy to understand premise, anyone can turn their hand to it with ease, then partake in some truly stressful yet fun multiplayer cooking action.

A fun but frustrating cooking experience, Overcooked is a fantastic couch co-op party game that will put your friendships to the test. Expect to be shouting and swearing at one another a lot; it gets pretty damn hot in Overcooked's kitchen. If you can't stand the heat, get out! Otherwise, bon appetit.
