If you haven’t caught on, I enjoyed the ever-loving crap out of this game. From the cast of zany characters — many of whom you may think are throwaways only for them to show up again in later levels — to the crazy art style, level and puzzle design, and whimsically hilarious script. Everything is pitch-perfect. Stick it to The Man! really is the complete package. Its style feels fully developed, its comedy proves genuinely funny, and its puzzles are actually fun to solve. Everything from the pacing to the cutscenes feels succinct and smartly designed, creating an experience that gets all the details right while not overextending itself. I almost wish the gameplay had been slightly more ambitious, but what it lacks in innovation it more than makes up in personality.

I really recommend playing this game. It’s a quick play, doesn’t overstay its welcome, and is packed with a lot of love and charm. I really enjoyed the writing and voices, as well as the art direction. I’m unsure if the Switch version got this as an exclusive, but there’s a couple of Nintendo jokes to be found early on that started the game off with a great tone. It ran great in both handheld and docked mode. I recommend headphones to hear all of the music, sound effects, and voices as clearly as possible. Stick it To The Man is a total blast to play. The puzzles may not be all that challenging, but the beautiful visuals, catchy soundtrack, and wonderful humour make it stick out above other adventure games. The campaign tells a silly but charming story with many unpredictable twists and turns. And despite it’s short run time, Stick it To The Man is a truly fun and memorable experience that will have you glued to the screen.
Stick It to the Man is the story of a young adult with a hand sticking out of his head. This tale also includes aliens, a few clowns, a crocodile with a taste for human flesh, and a skeleton pirate. With the kind of dark humour that you may remember from the likes of Ren and Stimpy – and an art style to match – this is an adventure with a charm rarely found in today’s gaming world.
Stick it to the Man! is a game anyone can enjoy. With an accessible framework and fantastic writing throughout the whole experience, it is certainly a unique title that most people should not miss. The Wii U version of Stick it to the Man! comes highly recommended over all other versions due to the added GamePad mechanics that make the game feel like a definitive version.
