Released just a year after the wonderful Yakuza 3, the only curve-ball Yakuza 4 throws is not running with Kazuma Kiryu as the game's primary protagonist, instead introducing three new playable characters. Yakuza 4 might be a structurally familiar game, but its multiple protagonist approach actually turns out to be the game's hidden strength.
With less content and gameplay depth, how could this sixth entry in the long-running franchise possibly hold up against its predecessors? Quite well, as it turns out.

Yakuza 4 is a very powerful number in this particular installment. Not only will you encounter the gritty atmosphere of Kiryu Kazuma's experiences, but three other characters will also be available to play, each with an engaging backstory and a gripping, interwoven plot.
